A ceramic cooking vessel crafted from unglazed red clay, renowned for its ability to absorb heat evenly and retain it for long periods. Handcrafted from purple clay (Zisha) or red clay, which is prized for its breathability and ability to retain the natural flavors of the food. The pot is distinguished by its rounded body and a funnel-shaped interior chimney (often hidden under the lid). This allows steam to enter from a separate boiling pot below, condensing into a rich, clear broth inside. Features an etched bamboo design and figural handles. This style of vessel is traditionally used for steam cooking, which helps retain the natural flavors and juices of food.
